This Privacy Policy explains how Nursingflix Lectures (OPC) Private Limited (“Nursingflix”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use the Nursingflix Android app, the website nursingflix.com and related services (together, the “Services”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide to us

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, gender and password when you register.
• Profile updates: any changes you make to your account details.
• Support communications: information you share when you contact us by email.

b) Information created when you use the Services

• Purchase information: the courses or exam packages you buy, the amount paid, order and transaction IDs, and payment status.
• Learning activity: the courses, videos and exams you access, and your exam attempts and results.
• Technical information: device type (for example, Android or web browser), IP address, date and time of access, and server logs needed to operate and secure the Services.

c) Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, net banking or wallet details are entered directly with Razorpay and are not collected or stored by us. We only receive confirmation of the payment and its transaction reference.

The Nursingflix app does not access your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or location.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your account and let you sign in;
• Provide access to the courses, videos and exams you have purchased;
• Process payments, issue receipts and handle refunds;
• Send service-related messages, such as password reset emails and purchase confirmations;
• Respond to your questions and support requests;
• Maintain the security of the Services and prevent fraud or misuse;
• Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following cases:

• Payment processing: with Razorpay, to complete your transactions. Razorpay’s handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://razorpay.com/privacy/.
• Service providers: with hosting and technical service providers who store and operate our systems on our behalf, under obligations to keep your information confidential and secure.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Nursingflix, our users or others.
• Business transfer: if Nursingflix is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use essential cookies and session data to keep you signed in and to make the Services work properly. These are not used to track you across other websites or apps, and we do not use advertising cookies.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. All data sent between the app or website and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Passwords are stored in a hashed form and are never stored as plain text. Access to personal information is limited to authorised personnel who need it to operate the Services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a data breach where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except for purchase and transaction records, which we must retain for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws in India. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and are then deleted.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Nursingflix account and associated personal data at any time:

1. Send an email to sklectures379@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
2. Send it from the email address registered with your Nursingflix account, so we can verify that the request is yours.
3. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

When your account is deleted, your profile, login details and learning activity are permanently removed, and you will lose access to any purchased content. Transaction records are retained only as described in Section 6.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct or update inaccurate information (you can edit most account details from your profile);
• Request deletion of your account and personal information;
• Withdraw your consent, which may mean we can no longer provide the Services to you;
• Raise a complaint about how we handle your information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for nursing students and professionals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If the changes are significant, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
